March 2012
Sometimes, my dad sends me e-mails from my childhood stuffed animals...
They ask me how the teddy bear i brought back to college is doing:
This was my response:
I am doing a social experiment for a project for my english class, and all you need to do is reblog this.
I’m comparing the speed of which humans communicate in todays world vs the 1900’s. This experiment is going to last three days, so from today, Saturday March 24th, 12AM EST, to Monday 11:59PM EST.
I am taking into account my amount of follows now (188) and how many I will have on Monday. I will reblog this myself once per day. I have a guess at how many reblogs this will get but I will keep that a secret for now.
Help me see how far this can go in three days.
The Lorax
book:
- The Once-ler tells a young boy the story of how he mindlessly chopped down all the Truffula trees and destroyed the environment. He is filled with regret and sorrow at the way he treated the Lorax, a being who acted as a voice for the animals and trees. He gives the boy the last Truffula seed and a message: “Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It’s not.”
movie:
- An EVIL CORPORATION is forcing the totally kawaii~ Once-ler to chop down all the trees! The Lorax is so crazy, haha. Look at his mustache. Zac Efron has to save the trees because they’re fun to look at. Taylor Swift loves looking at trees. Sponsored by Mazda.
